These make up the high ground in today’s culture wars. Whoever holds these strategic areas controls the shape and direction of both the City of God and the City of Man for generations to come. These areas have always been fierce battlegrounds, but the stakes have never been higher for the future of our children, communities, and churches.
For this reason, NSA invites college graduates to further shape and strengthen their understanding of these important cultural fronts by pursuing graduate studies in our Classical Christian Studies (CCS), our Master of Arts in Theology and Letters (M.A.), and our Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing (M.F.A.) programs.

To provide a liberal arts foundation for educators and others preparing for civic, business, church, and educational leadership, the CCS program’s distance education approach provides personalized interaction with faculty at New Saint Andrews.
Master of Arts in Theology and Letters
M.A.
The Master of Arts in Theology and Letters is a limited-enrollment, academically rigorous, two-year course of graduate studies for those aspiring to recover a faithful, Reformed, philological approach to theology. All students need to be able to work comfortably within either Hebrew, Greek or Latin. Students will be able to study biblical or systematic theology using the philological method.
This course is suitable for Bible translators, systematic theologians, those seeking pastoral training, and anyone interested in pursuing a philological approach to the study of texts in their original language. The M.A. program thus provides students a unique opportunity to explore both philology and theology as they apply to numerous areas of the life of the Church.
Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing
M.F.A.
The Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing is a limited-enrollment, academically rigorous, low residency two-year course of graduate studies for those aspiring to recover a faithful, theologically rich approach to the creative arts, particularly writing. All students will study biblical theology as a foundational element for developing the creative imagination as well as work closely with tutors on their creative writing projects. The two-year course is built around three one-week intensive (resident) workshops per year. The students are assigned specific creative and critical work to be completed between residences and handed in to set deadlines.
